Hurricane Katrina formed on August 23 during the 2005 Atlantic hurricane season and caused devastation along much of the north-central Gulf Coast of the United States. It was the sixth-strongest Atlantic hurricane ever recorded and the third-strongest hurricane on record that made landfall in the United States.
After the hurricane Sprung Instant Structures was called upon to supply a wide variety of engineered structures for temporary community centers for distribution of much needed supplies. Structures were also erected for much needed education gymnasium space, enclosed vehicle inspection facilities as well as on-site warehousing. Speed of delivery, product engineering, attractive monthly leasing with limited foundation requirements were all deciding factors in selecting Sprung.
Sprung structures provide an innovative, cost effective building alternative which dramatically accelerates construction time lines while providing complete flexibility for the future.
